Fauna Brewing are now the proud owners of The Grizzly Bear in West Worthing.
For those who don’t know - it’s time to get to know. The Grizzly is a beautiful micropub, conceived by the previous owner, Ollie, and designed with an eye for the subtle details of a speakeasy bar that would be at home in an F. Scott Fitzgerald novel. The Bear is a culmination of over a decade in the hospitality industry, the desire for a guaranteed delicious cocktail, a passion for excellent service, and above all, a love of craft beer. We are thrilled to have a sister venue for our beloved Arundel Taproom, and to bring Fauna’s brews into another Worthing venue.
The story of how Fauna acquired The Bear began over a can of Pango, and a tale of a notorious jewel heist (true story!). It’s been a wild ride, but it’s only the beginning…
Lovers, patrons, and straight up stans of The Grizzly Bear, rest assured, Fauna Brewing knows what makes the The Bear so special, we will be gradually adding and rotating the entire Fauna range to our new bar, the core range which consists of a lager, an IPA and a sessionable table beer, all inspired by African wildlife. This week you’ll notice our 2 cask ales, Bushy Tail Best and Meadow Maker Golden Ale, make their debut appearance!
We have every intention of upholding the excellent reputation of The Bear and the hard work of the team, and are so excited to bring Fauna to West Worthing, and beyond! Watch this space for new beers, homemade bar snacks and locally roasted coffee.
