The team at Fauna are looking for a Taproom Manager who can really own Fauna Taproom and treat it with the same love and passion as the rest of the management team, who have been growing and building the business in Arundel for the past 12 months.

With the Fauna Kitchen now fully functional and churning out pizzas, sandwiches, loaded fries and much more, the team at Fauna are looking for a driven, experienced and motivated Taproom Manager to run this vital part of Fauna Brewing’s business.
Taproom Manager Responsibilities:
- Leading the Fauna Taproom from the front and positively representing the Fauna brand
- Write & run shifts in the taproom
- Ensure excellent service is provided
- Deliver forecasts and budgets from our till system, Epos Now (training provided)
- Train and develop the bar team
- Liaising with the Fauna Kitchen team for a smooth flowing partnership
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Music, smells, ambient and engaging atmosphere for both customers & staff.
- Organise and clean the bar (including line cleaning)
- Stock management and ordering from our local suppliers
- Assisting with payroll through monthly rota reports
- Successful execution of events held at the taproom (private hire, Thursday evenings etc.)
- Fauna Taproom Event P&L Reports
- Assisting with Fauna Taproom social media. Replying to direct messages, emails and handling direct bookings via taproom phone.
- Development of Fauna Drinks Menu and ‘how to service’ - own the way products are served.
Taproom Manager Requirements:
- Experience in restaurant/hospitality/bar management
- Required to develop an understanding and empathy for Fauna’s ethics and charitable efforts
- Full Clean Driving License
- Personal Licence
- Barista training
- Good understanding or enthusiasm for craft beer and brewing
- Dedicated to and passionate about the hospitality industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Google Workspace/Outlook experience essential for rotas, emails, daily diary
- Experience & understanding of creating P&Ls and reports
